North CFR-1 Comfort Fit Respiratory System
The CFR-1 Comfort Fit Respiratory System combines the best features of disposable particulate dust masks with those of reusable half mask respirators, to create a respirator with all the advantages of both. Open the cover of the reusable thermoplastic facepiece and insert a disposable particulate filter, then snap the cover back in place. When the filter is used up, simply open the cover and replace it. The soft facepiece is as comfortable and tight-sealing as a half-mask respirator, yet the low-cost replacement filters are less expensive than traditional disposable particulate dust masks. The facepiece features a built-in exhalation valve that removes air from the mask quickly, so breathing is easier and cooler. An inhalation valve helps keep the filter drier and makes it possible to perform a positive seal check.
